About Us

Denney Fuller and Andrew Colin Beck are a composing duo, writing and recording in Salt Lake City. They have scored numerous short-films, commercials and animated series showcasing their whimsical style and unexpected melodies. Multi-instrumentalists, Denney & Andrew have written for Delta, Warner Chappell, Skullcandy, Owala and others.

Using a palette of charmingly retro sounds, Denney & Andrew recently scored the animated series "Hollywoodland". Additionally they teamed up with cartoonist Payton Finney to create grimey and iconoclastic music for a new cartoon called "Sludge Brothers".

When they aren't writing for the screen, Denney & Andrew have a baroque-pop band called "The Mellons", represented by the label Earth Libraries. On bass guitar, Denney plays in the national touring act "Neon Trees".

Denney

This is Dennis Fuller.
He’s a composer, producer, and studio musician living in Salt Lake City. He composes for commercials, short films, and television shows.

Denney grew up under the hot hot rays of Arizona sun listening to the oldies station with his mother. These tunes would end up steering him toward producing music that heavily leans towards 60s/70s sounds, and playing even earlier music with the Swing Orchestra.

ukulele? He’s got you. Trumpet? Sure. Guitar, bass, piano, keys, vocal and string arranging? Why not?

Denney has composed for many notable brands, bands and publishers. He lives in Salt Lake City with his wife and two beautiful children, plays bass for Neon Trees, and loves the music of The Beatles, The Kinks, Philip Glass, Sufjan Stevens, and Yann Tiersen.

Andrew

Andrew Colin Beck is a musician and artist living in the hills of Salt Lake City. He enjoys making music for shows, films, and cartoons.

Andrew loves iconoclastic sounds. Growing up in Provo Utah, he discovered a penchant for art that marches to the beat of its own drum.

When Brother Beck isn’t writing music, he likes to draw. Andrew is inspired by the music of Danny Elfman, Jonny Greenwood, Igor Stravinski, Ennio Moricone, Beck, They Might be Giants, Brian Wilson, Mark Mothersbaugh, lexandre Desplat, the Beatles, and Carl Stalling.

He lives in Salt Lake City with his one dog, two boys, and one wife.

In the studio…

Denney and Andrew met in 2020 at the beginning of their baroque-pop rock band, “The Mellons”. They discovered a magical connection, and a secret short-hand that has allowed them to create fun and memorable music and sound ever since.

So why not give them a ring and let them compose something dazzling for your next project!
